Book Store

In case any of you are wondering, I have all of these books on my shelf and I’ve read them — though not all of them completely. (In one case, I haven’t managed to get through the first chapter, but for reasons beyond my control I swear!) I have read more, but don’t think they are worth your time. Instead of writing negative reveiws, I will focus on the positive — which is what you see on this page. I love to read, so feel free to send me your recommendations. (Click here for contact info.)

What I’m reading now:

This one is a slog, but well worth the time. I’m currently working on ways to implenent options stragies as part of an overall directional approach in currencies. I believe that even if one doesn’t use options, one should at least be aware of them and how they affect currency movements. More advanced books are out there, but this is the definitive text for finance amateurs like me. At the moment, it’s more of a sleep aid than a study, unfortunately. Have to work on that.

Update: That book is crap! I should have listened to BZBTrader.

  1. Lonely Trader,

Nice book list…I need to get Trading the Plan…never heard of that one. Like the blog, I found you from MacroTactics blog and noticed your TLT name from the comments on Project 10. As TheLawyerTrader I often use the TLT handle as well. Keep up the good work.
